Jennifer’s artistic style is constantly evolving. 

As an artist, she has explored identity and now views her work with more patience and sees the merit in her process.  “I’ve depicted my chosen subject matters all so differently and yet there is something special about not having a predictable voice.  Each painting is rather unique.  They were done in a moment in time – on another day I might feel the need to approach that same subject matter differently.  This constant curiosity keeps things fresh and keeps the awareness level high for new things, for new developments."

 Growing up in a rural town in southern Ontario, Jennifer took art classes in her early teens.  These fond memories gave her the tools to begin painting again, as an adult.  Jennifer has been fortunate to call the Comox Valley, a vibrant arts community, her home for the last 13 years.  Her work leads her from one experiment to another ~ always exploring a new interest.
